This is an extremely important issue.  The saints must be discipled in the deep truths of God’s Word.  This is God’s desire that believers grow to full maturity in Christ.  It is what He has predestined to occur in their lives.  God wills that believers be conformed to the image of Christ.  James MacDonald states this very well in his latest blog post Starving Saints.  Check it out.
